Digital Access Control Systems
Digital
access control systems are at the lowest security level when it comes to access
control. It is normally used in low level control of restricted areas. Entry is
accomplished by entering a numeric code on a keypad to release a door.

system can be from 1 code on up to hundreds based on need.
- Some
systems have the ability to have printers to record transactions.

- Simple
to program.
- Should
only be used to control passage doors.

Normally all codes have 24 hour access.
Down
side
- Digital
codes are not very secure, you can share a code that can be used at a later
date.
